It is important for every one of our guests to receive friendly and immediate assistance. This is accommodated by our well-known concierge, David Costa.  “It is my pleasure to assist” rings through his desk dozens of times a day, to guide guests to places to eat or shop, confirm dinner reservations, obtain theater tickets, assist with car service and transportation, last minute hairstyling, spa services, or local knowledge of Portland and the surrounding areas to visit.

David is Maine’s only Les Clefs d’Or certified concierge.  Members of this global organization are present in such hotels as The Peninsula Beverly Hills, Ritz Carlton New York, and The Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris.. You will always see the Gold Keys distinctly displayed on Mr. Costa’s lapel each day.  His pride is apparent in his presence, personality and his dedication to excellence and guest satisfaction.

The concierge desk at Portland Harbor Hotel is different from others in Portland. We deliver a level of professionalism, etiquette, and overall experience that you cannot find anywhere else. We take great pride in this. As for my role at the hotel, sometimes my job is as easy as making our youngest guests smile. Other time, it is not so easy. Some days all we do is make the impossible happen. At the end of the day, the best thing I can do for guests of Portland Harbor hotel is surprise them with our signature, that being attention to the tiniest detail and sincere appreciation for their choice to stay with us.
