Ice Bar
Ice Bar Weekend, January 28-30- Our annual Ice Bar celebration is scheduled for Thursday-Saturday, January 28-30. Guests can expect spectacular gleaming ice bars, fire pits and ice sculptures paired with Absolut Martinis, Shipyard Beers, and Red Stag Bourbon by Jim Beam™ Cocktails. Also wines and plenty of non-alcoholic beverages will be served.
- Our Executive Chef, Earl Anthony Morse, will be leading the sculpting. Chef Morse has won two bronze medals in the the World Ice Sculpting Championships and a gold in the European Ice Championships, this year promises to be extraordinary. He will be carving 16K pounds of ice. That's 8K more than past years!
- The Ice Bar will be open from 4:30 to 9:30 p.m. each day and admission is by $10 donation. Donations support three wonderful local non profit organizations: Center for Grieving Children, Share Our Strength, and Junior Achievement.
- Also during the Ice Bar, Chef Morse will be joined by Harding Lee Smith, Chef/Owner of Portland's Corner Room, Front Room and Grill Room restaurants. Also the fabulous Denny Mike's 'Cue Stuff will be serving delicious BBQ. Grazing during the Ice Bar is a must and all foods presented by the hotel and its guest chefs is complimentary.
