Overlooking a charming courtyard garden, Eve's at the Garden offers a comfortable and relaxed dining room and lounge. Executive Chef Timothy Labonte visits the Portland Farmers Market routinely and uses fresh local ingredients when possible including seafood from Browne Trading Market and from Harbor Fish, both located just steps away from our restaurant and near the ocean, on Commercial Street.

Down East food writer John Golden called our tuna tartare "a triumph" and raved about our lollipop lamb chops and perfectly grilled red snapper.
The Montreal Gazette visited us recently and called Eve's "a hip, happening destination for power breakfasts and stylish lunches and dinners...... with good food and personable, professional service."
The Maine Sunday Telegram restaurant review the critic wrote, "A grilled quail ($13 appetizer) ... arrives butterflied, whole figs and greens to the side. I love this delicate dish, the oregano-flecked and honeyed skin golden and crispy, the dark meat moist ...." The review complimented our French onion soup and chowder too, as well as the service and desserts and added "It is easy to converse and linger in these cushioned surroundings...." saying also that they felt like VIPs. Happy Hour at Eve's
Happy Hour is Monday through Friday from 4-7 p.m. Relax on one of the comfortable sofas or leather arm chairs or if the weather cooperates step out into our landscaped courtyard garden. Eve's offers one of the most comfortable Happy Hour spots in the state. Enjoy daily specialty martinis and a great Happy Hour menu featuring a variety of flavorful bar bites.
Eve's is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

International Dinner Series
Our popular International Dinner Series kicks off again this month with a Middle Eastern menu. Join us on Thursday, February 27th. Dinner starts at 6:30 pm. Chef Tim Labonte will prepare a fabulous array of regional selections. Dinner is served family-style, starting with appetizers, or mezze, followed by authentic Middle Eastern entrees and desserts.
